Nothing in that link, my mistake?

I don't know WHY you can't see them. I clicked on it and brought it up and managed to get this one out and if I need to, I can take them time later this evening and put them all on here.

I met a couple of you guys at the VJMC booth..........spent most of my time in the swap area.........Left for half of Saturday to see my brother at a nearby tractor show...........we took 4 bikes to sell and a table full of parts.  Sold it all!  Still have the sandcast motor that belongs to a freind but otherwise had a great time. One of the 4 in our group has diabetes and couldn't take the heat.......so Sunday and Monday were spent in the hospital........but he is fine today.  Already making plans for next year. The next bike gig for me is next June at Road America.

Hi fellas. I enjoyed meeting several of you this weekend. I wish I had more time to have gone to dinner, and will make better plans to do so next year.

Howdy all,

What a blast!  I wish I could have stayed the entire weekend!  I am looking forward to next year already.  Thanks also to all the VJMC folks.  The Pancake (or should I say "Man-cake") breakfast was great.  I was so inspired by Lloyd's GL1000 that I bought an '83 "Interstate" (GL1100) yesterday.  Even though I commute to work every day on my "CB", I really hadn't taken a "road-trip" like this in over 10 years.  I know that 200 miles each way is nothing; especially when compared to many of the other fellas, but it reminded me how much I missed long trips.

Cheers,

Chris

Chris, that's actually Deb's 1975 GL1000. Lloyd has the red CBX1000 and the red CB400 Four. They ride those on our vintage events, but take his Goldwing and her Pacific Coast when we do the long stuff. 2 years ago they did over 6,000 miles on their trip to the Grand Canyon. Great folks they are.

Here is our June Smokey Mountains camp trip - Deb's Pacific Coast is in the background. Barry belongs to the Blue FJR (he owns that drop-dead beauty of a Green 1970 Yamaha 650 you saw at the show). Lloyd's Wing and my ST1300.

I went by the VJMC booth Friday evening with another list member from Chicago.  Rode over on my race bike.  Got there at 5:55, left at 6:01.  Never saw anyone.

Some of you came by the pits.  Nobody had a problem figuring out who I was.  Nice meeting you guys.

Sunday could've gone better.  Wiped out during the race, right in front of the museum.  Bummer of a way to end the season.  Front end looks a little bent but I was already planning on putting on a '75 Gold Wing front end.

Other than that it was a great weekend.  Really, the crash was no big deal, just motivates me to do the stuff I wanted to do anyway.

-Bob

Gordon,

Thanks for the clarification!   (Sorry Deb) The "Wing" I bought is an '83 Interstate, and I ordered a special carb kit recently from Randakk's cycle shack, and will be going through the carbies and such as soon a the rest of the little bits arrive.   I am looking forward to having my wife grace the back of the "leadwing" with her presence!

Spanner,

I think you are right about Travis there!  I believe he actually requires pictures/measurments of the prospective "kids" as well :)

Cheers,

Fab
