Wish we could have been there to assist when your battery failed you.

It was great running into you guys- I'm sure you'll get the charging problem figured out, you have already done an awesome job on the bike so far.  For those of you that didn't make it here is a link to the photo's I took:

Great running into you guys also.  When I got home I discovered that one of the wires going to my solid state rectifier had come undone.  That was probably the problem.  I made it to the second check point, when we stopped for a second, and the bike was dead when we went to leave.  Luckily we did't go further to the north side of the island.  It was a pretty easy push and coast down to the ferry.  Charged the bike for a bit then ripped home.
