Engine wire routing/clamp positioning
« on: April 25, 2005, 01:21:24 AM »
Can anyone tell me what bolts to place the 3 wiring clamps and what direction they face on a '72 750 sohc engine.  Also need to know which way to route the wire. I'm getting ready to frame the engine soon. Thanks

Do you mean like the neutral switch wire clamp etc?

Thanks
We are coming very close to reframing our engine and I would like to know where the wiring clamps go and in what direction. I know that two go under the engine (one for the neutral switch and one for the ignition) and one goes in the sprocket area (for the Dyno wiring/starter) but to the life of me I cannot remember what bolt the clamps are installed under nor the correct routing of the wiring.  Drawings would be nice. Actual picture of an OEM installation would oustanding!
