Topic: will cb400f throttle cables fit a cb350f??

hi new to the forum and must say the site and information here is fantastic.

just wondering if anyone knows if throttle cables from a 400f will fit a 350f. i recently picked up a 350f and its in need of throttle cables but i cant seem to get them anywhere but i can get them for a 400f. i've checked up the part numbers and they are different but i was thinking the only difference is they might be longer or something and might still do. i've seen pictures of the 400f ones and they look identical. if anyone has any idea would really appreciate it?

The ends should fit, however the length might be off. 

Check with Bike Bandit if at all possible.

Stock 350F handlebars are several inches taller than 400F bars, so if the bars are still stock then the 400 cables won't be long enough.

Stock 1977 CB400F cables would fit, since that year had higher OEM bars

Still not as tall as the stock 350F bars, IIRC.

stock handlebars are still on it but i was thinking of changing them anyway so i might give the 400f cables a shot, thanks for the info
