Where in God's name do all the wires go!!

Where in the hell do all of those wires go that are in the little compartment next to the coils on a 75 550f? I am not running any idiot lights on my build, should I have a ton left over? Also, if I buy an aftermarket set of gauges do I just cut and splice with electrical tape or is some kind of weld needed?

Some pictures might do you some good at getting answers, just a heads up. As far as splicing wires, at the very least get yourself some screw on caps or some heat shrink covers and use a heat gun or hair dryer on them, then cover with electrical tape.
