Spanner proved himself to me, for what that's worth, during a trouble-shoot of a starter problem; he suggested a simple test that isolated the ignition switch, solenoid coil, and related wiring, from the starter motor safety unit, clutch switch, and starter button all in one fell swoop. That, in my opinion, is worthy of respect.
