You will get lots of different comments, some are worth more depending on where you live. What will be holding back the value in my opinion though is the seat, forks, handlebars,no turn signals etc. Bringing it back closer to stock would help its value greatly. We all love the Planet Blue 75   ;)

I always check ebay and craigslist to see what things are worth in my area.
No matter how fast or how far I rode, I couldn't leave her memory behind.

The issue of value to the seller or buyer is a subjective one, especially to a collector. Generally speaking, the factors that influence vintage motorcycle values are:

-Manufacturer and Model
-Original Equipment
-Extra Features
-Age
-Mileage
-General Mechanical Condition
-Customization and Uniqueness
-Desirability
-Rare Model
-Geographical Location

Appraisal Guides such as the NADA and Kelley Blue Book can be a starting point to suggested values.

Here's the example from KBB:

Well you asked so please do not get mad! In SoCal it would probably sell instantly for $ 1500, maybe even up to $ 2000 if you could sit on it awhile as is if running well. Now if you brought it back to stock and it ran well 3500-4000.00, I watch the market very closely in my area. Me I would bring it back to stock and keep it; but for resale return it to stock and put it on ebay. If it's not stock on ebay you would be looking at 1,000-1,500 as buyers do not necessarily want to pay 500 to ship a project bike, just my opinion and I'm no expert, just a lover of CB750s!

If it runs and shifts okay....$1,000 on eBay, $1500 private sale.  Yes, the price of shipping DOES come in to play when you have to ship it across the country.

Change the seat and bars back to stock, the fork tubes as well.  The work you have performed on her kills the value, IMHO.

You should really figure out how much you want for it and post it in the "for sale" catagory.
If you want offers, list it on ebay.

Exactly somebody out wants that bike and it's in pretty damn good shape based on the pictures i would say $2000 obo and settle for 1500 to 1800 but we have no idea what you have into the bike right now, just be honest in your discription.

Put it this way people have bought bikes in way worse shape that need way more work that one seems to be in really good shape the paint looks really good and thats a major expense to a potential buyer if he had to have it done and it's factory paint to top it off ( a huge plus). Now iam basing that off a picture and i have seen cbs go for more in worse shape on CL but from what iam looking at $1500 is feasible atleast you also have done a bit of stuff that the potential buyer doesn't have to mess with, start it at 2k obo and see what happens.

Yeah, thats Phx prices... I miss Phx, if only for the cheap bikes! Here in East TX, you could get 1k easy I'd think, maybe more.

If I had that here, I would ask 2K or a bit more.
I would just shorten the forks..

Why do you want to sell, make a quick buck?

It will be worth more once you get it running and change that ugly seat!

I meant 2K just by shortening the forks..

If I was selling a clean bike (if I could ever find one) and it is a classic..
In todays pricing a 1/2 yes ..HALF exhaust for a Ducati is 1500$ or plus..

Do you want a running clean classic that will appreciate ??  If you want to save a few bucks, and that matters so much to you... get a non classic  bike for less and ride that..

The bike in the pics.. once the forks are shortened.. the rest is a few afternoons work.. It's pretty clean.. maybe it would not easily bring 2K but over 1500.00 here would be easy.
