Good place to buy an O-ring/X-ring chain?
« on: June 14, 2010, 02:45:17 PM »
I need to buy a new o-ring/x-ring chain for my CB750K2 and it seems prices have gone up since I last bought one  :o. Anyone bought one recently for less than $100?

Specs - 100 -102 links, 530 O-RING or X-ring

So far have tried:
Z1 Enterprises - dont sell chains!?
Bikebandit - $113
DennisKirk - $110 or so

Any cheap Ebay sellers?

thanks
Andy

Got mine from Mavrick powersports but have not seen him on for a while.  He was cheaper than those prices.
I don't have a motorcycle, sold it ('85 Yamaha Venture Royale).  Haven't had a CB750 for over 40 years.

Check here - http://mavrik-powersports.com/EK%20Chain.htm

It was something like this when I ordered from him a while back;

EX SRO-Z Series 530 O-Ring Chain x 104 links

9100lbs Tensile Strength / BLACK in color.

$80 shipped to the lower 48 states.

Got my RK 630 from Z1, among a pile of other parts. Super fast, love Z1.

I bought a 530 x-ring chain by Parts Unlimited for around $65.00 from these people:  http://www.rideshack.com/SearchResults.asp?Search=lm530mox112
They also had good prices on sprockets.
