Lately, I have been doing a search on them, asking guys on here, etc.  and everyone that has one really likes it.

For a 750, a Carpy is the sweetest one to have, but the MAC is ALOT more affordable.

If you can afford it, get a Carpy.  If not, the MAC will suffice.

Go to Youtube and listen to both.

I had a MAC can on a bike once. I hated it. It sounded rattly, and was far too "Blatty" for my tastes. Had I known then what I know now about exhausts, I would have completely redesigned the baffle to get a batter sound.

That being said, there are far more MAC exhausts out there on bikes for the simple reason that they are about the cheapest option on the market. They work. They get the bike through inspection. I wouldn't own one again without modifying it. But that's my opinion. I am also the crazy nut who spent $1200 on a custom 4 into 4.  ;D (I love it, but my next project will have a less expensive system ::) ).

If I could I would run one of Carpy's pipes on my build but I had to go with the Mac 4-1 for now.  Carpy's pipe will not fit on the 77-78 750, with out mods, due to the how the pegs hook to the frame.  I have a Mac on my 400 and I am happy with it.  I plan on modifying the Mac pipe on my 750, just not sure how I want to yet.

ouch....hadn't heard of that.  Does that just apply to stock peg's or to rear sets?
