BETTER BATTERY
« on: August 08, 2010, 11:06:24 PM »
I've been recommended a 'gel' maintenance free battery for my CB750 Four. Are they worth the extra money? Thanks.

Watching this with interest, I have the same question. :)
I think the thing I most like about motorcycling is the speed at which my brain must process information at to avoid the numb skulls who are eating pies, playing the ukulele, applying make-up etc in the comfort of their airconditioned armchairs as they make random attempts to kill me!!!!!!!

I don't know about the bike batteries but a mate of mine has had one in his 454 Chevy impala and it is ten years old. I like the idea of 10 years of maintenance free service.

If You can't fix it with a hammer, You've got an electrical problem.

They are about twice the price of a wet battery here in Godzone. :'(
