A search of the website here has yielded little info about these pipes and I cannot find any info online about Sito exhausts in general either. Bikebandit has yet to answer me, so I'm asking you in hopes that someone has these pipes or knows about them....
My original 4-4 pipes on my '74 CB550K are in bad shape and getting worse by the day. If I patch them any more, they will be made mostly of JB Weld.

Anyway, I found these Sito brand slip on pipes that uses your original head pipes. They are on closeout...
http://www.bikebandit.com/sito-muffler?m=9230&t=1&td=1The Bikebandit website states that it will fit a '74 CB550, however in the Q&A section, they state that the exhaust will fit only bikes with tubular frames (I assume they mean where the exhaust mounts on the rear). That leads me to believe that they really mean the "F" frame....but I didn't think there was a such thing as a CB550F until '75? Hence, I am confused about fitment on my bike.
Does anyone have any experience with these pipes here? I'm looking to confirm that they will or will not fit my "K" bike. I just really like the looks of the 4-4 exhaust and this appears to be about my only option to keep pipes going down each side. I really don't want a 4-1, but for the CB550, that's about the only option anymore.
Here is some discussion I found from a while back regarding the exhaust....
