'75 rear hubs
« on: June 15, 2010, 04:00:13 PM »
Hey guys, quick question. Where there any 1975 CB750 models that came with a 17" rear wheel?

My K5's hub was damaged so I ordered one from a salvage yard. They say it was off a K5, but when it got here, it had a 17" rim, the sprocket hub has a hard time fitting into it(rubbers are slightly different in design) and my brake assembly doesn't fit in as neatly as it does on my hub. Any help would be appreciated.

Wha, ya mean dey don't all fit each udder?  (salvage yard talk.)

According to the fishies at motogrid.com, the 17" and the different rubbers didn't occur until model year 1977, roughly K7. You've got a claim against the yard, I think.

Yeah thats what I figured. I have to email the guy tonight. I'll be really annoyed if he doesn't give me a refund.
