Well, for all interested parties, I just got a set of OE valves for my k8..... exactly like the ones I removed, from CMSL they use the same keepers as original, unlike the ones I got from that Dynoman website..... why would a person rebuild an engine with used parts? that's the question..... here is the text of the email that Dynoman sent me:
We are sorry that we had nothing on our website about the keepers for the 77-78, but we have added it as of this morning. The valves on the 77-78 have different keepers and retainers. All you need to do is find a used set of 69-76 parts and the valves will work great. If you do not have any luck finding a set let us know and we will see what we can find.
As there are no after market valves for the 77-78 this is the best way to go. So,They changed their website, only after the fact. and I'm stuck with a set of vesrah valves. nice...
