cam chain guide/ slipper 750K0/K1 vs. later??
« on: July 12, 2010, 05:13:50 PM »
I'm in the reassemblage phase of my K0 top end and have just now realized about 1 5/8" difference between the new slipper I found a while ago and the one I pulled from the top end. Turns out they're different part numbers (14611-312-000 for K0/K1; 14611-300-000 for the longer K2 and later). Is there any reason I can't run the longer, new one in a K0 cylinder/head? Better yet, why the # change anyway? I unfortunately can't do a dry fit to check it myself; the head's still at APE.
I'm also using a tsubaki chain and new tensioner and roller.

from a number No. 2200001 the length of the quide was
10mm extension cords, and the tunnel of the cylinder or the password string is wider I think, therefore I do not know if you swapped the bit.
