Help for a UK member
« on: June 18, 2010, 01:50:48 AM »
Hi, most of you will have read at least one of my posts by now and i am hoping one of you can help me out.

I need a set of 4 rods and pistons complete for a Goldwing GL1000.

I have aquired a Goldwing executive in the UK of which only 51 were built but it needs an engine re-build. I have managed to get a crank and shells but the rods and pistons/rings are badly water damaged. Anybody got some for me? I will happily pay carriage and reasonable beer money

Cheers all

Bryan,

Have you tried DK Breakers in Newcastle under Lyme? Not cheap but I bet they'll have the prts if you draw a blank on friendlier garage finds...
