Hey Glenn, I'm still around and check things here from time to tmie. Lately, I spent nearly a year going thru my '77 GL1000, and I still spend time on my '76 CB750F....not as much because the O rings in the head are weeping and I haven't wanted to pull the engine. My back is kind'a broken, so I may photograph cutting the minor support above the engine for head removal without pulling the engine. I've found a small number of people that've done this, even without replacing the minor supports...and've had no problems as such. I will though, reattach the minor support via sleeves of some sort.

I came across this one by purchasing on ebay. They have the absolute trickest SOHC4 750 stuff I've ever seen, makes me eager to start building a chopper. Check out their 4 into 2 carb setups and their wheels.

Really easy to read site. When I first started getting the old bike going, A Germany Engineering buddy of mine. Thought oh how simple, and started fiddling, well one thing lead to another and the next thing you know he had the old bike on FIRE. He was using lot's of starter fluid trying to get her going.
Its over in his garage and I was not there at the time.

When I found this site the first statement was BUY A "FIRE EXTINGUISHER"... Ha

Great little read though, I like how he wants you to buy an old fin housing and break of some fins so you know how fragile they can be and also practice torquing bolts to get the feel...

Yep, looks like it. Kinda cool idea, though. Year One is a really cool place for restoration parts. Their place (in Georgia) is awesome, all kinds of old "automobilia" on the walls, customer photo albums, just a neat way to spend a day. Used to go there to get parts with my Brother when I lived in GA.

Um, this isn't so much of a club, but I find it REALLY useful. Maybe you all know it already.

It's an online microfiche program with a live price update from all the parts for a bunch of Honda bikes. I use it to pull up info on my Nighthawk whenever I need stuff, and the prices seem to be store/distributor prices. The downside is that it only works with Internet Explorer...

YOU MUST FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS FOR IT TO WORK. Then it loads as if it was running in a program on your computer (but inside your web browser).
