Any body ever use the Harbor Freight O Ring kits on their bikes?
If so how was the quality?

I haven't used any of them on my bike yet but I have used them on my truck without any issue. It wasn't on the motor but on the connections for my transmission cooler which gets fairly warm.

I took two matching o-rings from a harbor freight assortment box , put one in gasoline, the other on the table.  At the end of the day, the one in the fuel had swelled noticeably.  You might get away with it, but I don't think o-rings in the carb are supposed to do that.

my friend uses them all the time in his auto repair shop so far he hasn't had any issues with them.

There are o-rings and then fuel resistant o-rings. o-rings used in refrigeration are usually sufficient for fuel applications.

Harbor Freight sells both viton and nitrile o-rings.  Make sure you know what you're buying.

+1.

I would just get your o rings in the size you need from mcmaster carr. Quality parts decent price and material selection. I have noticed that HF o rings have casting marks on them that others dont. I would not use them for high heat, fuel or internal engine. That prety much rules out the cb750 right there.

I have a set of both the metric and standard HF o-rings, I have used them for many things from vibration damping to the seals on my main jets. on an occasion that one would swell hampering reassembly I would just replace it.

they are cheap and yes they do have a mold ring around the outside. I usually use 1 size smaller putting a slight stretch on them

Watch out, the metric kit i got online was the same as the standard set but it was labeled with the metric equivalent (that made it metric/ go figure)
Useful once in awhile, the Japanese generally use thinner orings on most things.

I put one of these around the oil orifice that fits in the top of the cyl block (CB400F).
It is the Nitrile variety.
Should I be concerned about it's ability to take the heat?
