Apparently forgot I, errr he had taken the wheel off. Obviously the caliper pinched shut as he pumped all that fluid. What is the best way to set the puck back to allow me to put the wheel and brand new Dunlop tire back on? by relieving the bleeder valve? Thanks!

Open the bleeder valve and carefully pry the brakes open with a screw driver.
Should open up easily.

Um... well, ok. I was concentrating on the electrical connectors in that damn bucket. Haha.

You could take out the two allen bolts and split it in half and use a c clamp to compress it back. If it was me and it had not been done in awhile I would pull the pad and piston and give it a good cleaning while your down there  ;)

One easy way way to avoid this issue is to simply remove the brake lever first every time the front wheel comes off.
This way nobody can squeeze the lever.

What I do is zip tie a wood block between the brake lever and the grip. Then no dummie i.e. me can grab a handfull of front brake.

yup, just removed the caliper bolts and pulled the caliper apart and used a c-clamp to clamp it back into position, went for a nice ride on my new dunlops, sweet.
