So, decided to start working on the tail section while waiting for gaskets and stuff to arrive.
Built a wooden buck - which i forgot to take pics of!

- and then filled it with expanding foam.
Now, i've used the stuff before - admittedly not this particular brand - but i have NEVER seen it expand like this!!!



After a little sweet loving from a bread knife, the tail-section-within-the-mutant-beast began to reveal itself.

Not totally satisfied, so a little more cutting and Voila!

The tape is to try and see how the tail flows in relation to the tank.
Not bad i reckon!
Going to hit it with bondo tomorrow, see if there is anymore beauty to be revealed!
