Push Pull Throttle Assembly
« on: February 20, 2012, 05:56:41 PM »
So recently i installed a GSXR front end on my CB550 but am not happy with the way my throttle assembly looks so i found the above link and was wondering if anyone has ran this assembly or one similar to it. If anyone has ran a set up like this let me know how you like it. Thanks

I couldn't find the # you posted, maybe a picture?

I have a MP #01-0058 throttle on my 550 race bike. I modified an R1 throttle tube to use instead and it's now about 100 degrees. This throttle housing is simple and the stock Honda cables will fit if need be.

I have Motion Pro throttles on both my 550 and 750 and like bwaller says the stock cables work on my 750.  My 550 had worn out Honda cables so I brought Motion Pro cables. Stock cables will probally work on 550's, too.
