Topic: I just got started! - CB550 k4

Hello,

This is it! I just bought my first bike... It's a 1978 CB550 K4, it's in pretty rough shape! but it runs and it was 250$

I would like to have it looking like the second bike, could anyone tell me what size of wheels/tire are on the triumph and what kind of thank I could use to get something similar?

welcome to the forum. the rear wheel is a 16". i just went through this myself. have to find a 16" wheel and lace it to your hub. i luckily found one that was already done. but check out the classified's forum.
you should introduce yourself on the 500/550 board.

are you going to go all the way hard tail? check my thread in my signature. this forum is a wealth of knowledge. good luck

I will be doing a hard tail with a RockShox or Fox oil shock seat pan, I come from the XC MTB scene!
