do you guys have any idea where a brother can get a luggage rack for a 1978 CB750K?  i'm not picky about looks.  it is basically just going to be on there for a trip i may be taking to the emerald coast bike fest in fla.  any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Ebay

You could check out the "For Sale by Owner" postings.

Local salvage yards, perhaps?

Make one yourself!?!?

I could be wrong, but I doubt you're going to find any new ones being made anywhere. SO, your best bet is looking around at the swap meets and online auctions and the like to find a used one. They used to be made, so they're out there. You'll just have to do a little sleuthing to find one....

... or is that what your were doing by posting here?

ebay is definitely a good place to find a cheap luggage rack, but just a few words of warning from my own experiences:

If the mounting point measurements aren't listed in the auction, get them from the seller before placing a bid because even if they say it will fit your make/model of bike that doesn't mean it will.

Only heavy rust on chrome tends to show up in pictures, so even if it looks good it may be much worse when you actually get it.

Make sure you have a shipping quote before bidding because most luggage racks are rather large.
