Zappa plays Zappa
« on: June 23, 2010, 04:12:16 PM »
went and seen Zappa plays Zappa in Vancouver B.C. the other night and I gotta tell ya,Dweezil plays as good as his dad.For those who know what I am talking about, that is saying a lot.Frank Zappa is one of the most talented composers of the 20th century and Dweezil is no slouch. He cant compose like Frank but he sure can play like em.I swear if I didnt know any better I would have sworn it was Frank. That night in bed my ears actually bled.(two ear infections)

My friend borrowed my taping gear 10/08 and recorded them in Charlotte NC. It is a great recording that only a few have. One made it to the internet but this one blows it away! If you want it Ill get it from him! Ive been wanting it back as well! I gave mine away! Visualite theater i think.

So, the strategy is to lie to people you are asking for help?

I think I'll be busy going for a ride.

Good luck!

Man that brings back memories.  I saw frank and the mothers here in San Bernardino at the Swing Auditorium which is now gone.  He even wrote a song about San Bernardino.   ;D  ;D ;D

The actual mothers? That is great, you are lucky.I would give my left nut to go back in time to see early mothers, and maybe some Bob Marley as well.

Pretty sure the mother & frank played Vancouver a few times back in the day... I got a cool pic of him, that a local guy took in the 70s, on my desk..
