Yeah, 500cc is a bit small for 40 dcoe. They did make a 38 dcoe, but I have never seen one. You might have more luck in Italy than in Arizona. ;)

scottly, even 38's would be enormous, have yet to see a road racing 500 with webers.

dont know much about them, but where they used in road racing at all, even on 750's?

Sam, get a price for UK shipping first, then we'll see.

Cheers

If they are sold within the UK, they will have 17.5% VAT (value added tax) onto the price, better shipped to Italy, VAT is not charged on exported goods.

Ask them if they have 30mm velocity stacks for Mikuni RS40's in stock if you call them anyway ;).
I tried to order a set from Schnitz but they seem to be discontinued :(.
Thanks.

Yosef, they have a set in stock at £644.28 plus VAT. I was wrong about no VAT on exports as it also aplies to all EU countries, but having said that, the prices in the US are miles cheaper.
It's a toss up over the costs and depends how much import duty will be charged when entering Italy.
The price to me is £757.03 (euro 904.84) plus a bit of postage then I have to get them to you and you end up paying the Vat again, I'd wait untill they have them in stock in the States.

thanks sam

a bit pricey indeed, sudco quoted 800 US$, = 660 euros

of course, there's always the danger that there'll be customs on a US import to italy, a bit of a lottery in my experience

guess my friend will wait then,

Cheers

Hello Juha,

Can't you have them made?

Rob
Hi Rob.
I suppose I could but I really like the extremely light and well fitting factory stacks ;).
I'm trying to "sedate" my bikes midrange a bit with smaller rearsprocket and shorter stacks, it's too difficult to launch now.
