picked these up this weekend

1975 GL1000 with a Batman fairingand.  The frame in the background is a 1975 xs 650 and a set of wheels

the fairing is now off.  The head light is still mounted so all I need to do is reroute the wiring to the headlight bucket.  If I posted it in the for sale thread, how many years do you think it take for some nut case to want to buy it? :P

BTY:  The fairing is made by a company called Twelfth Dimension MFG.  In case you were interested.

The beast was fitted with a set of alloy bodied Konis that feel really nice under my 750, and a Dyna ignition, everything seems to work.  However, the fan is actuated via toggle switch, and there is an alternate "wiring harness" that powered the 4-way stereo system, heated vest and fog lights.  Aside from the Druidic mushroom beer influenced paint job, my other favorite customization was the 2 foot long jockey shift that swung fore and aft upon acceleration and deceleration.  That's why it was the first thing I chopped off.
