Service Honda

Anyone else having issues accessing the servicehonda website over the last couple of days? Been trying to get on there to lookup parts but I get a "page not found" type error. Wondering if it is just me or the whole world? Other websites come up fine and it seems my connection is working.

Looks like the DNS servers for their domain are not responding to queries. Domain registration is good till 2014. I'm guessing if you knew the IP the sites still up. There hosting service is having an issue.

NS1.CENTRALPROCESSINGUNIT.COM
NS2.CENTRALPROCESSINGUNIT.COM

I'm not familiar with CENTRALPROCESSINGUNIT.COM. But they seem to be the source of the problem. There servers don't seem to be doing anything. Googleing them show they're responsible for a handful of domain's DNS records. I'm guessing their all down.

Ok... if the info I just found is correct, the DNS server and the server that www.servicehonda.com are hosted on are one in the same. I would venture to guess that it's toast and the person(s) running it haven't been able to restore it if it's been down for a few days. I hope the admin has backups..... certainly doesn't seem to have any backup server.

Thanks for the info. I had thought it might be a DNS issue but I didn't have the energy to go any further than that with the investigation.

Thanks,
