Topic: signals dont work with lights on now wtf.....

ok so everything was working fine on the bike but now with the headlights on the signals dont come on and the buzzer stays on, could it be a bad relay? i just put a new one on 2 weeks ago a 12v electronic one for cars 2 wire. with the lights on if i turn on the left signal the right parking light goes off and vice versa if i turn on the right. and still no blinking. i probably have the parking light wires crossed after i took them out to see if they were connected. any thoughts would be apreciated

What's your battery voltage?

You require them to work when the engine isn't running?

should be 12 volts, its a new battery out of my other bike. the bike does run, it was running when the signals stopped working. it might just  be the flasher i think?

with the lights off the signals work fine hmmm i dunno

If it is only 12 V, the battery is run down.  A fully charged battery s/b 12.6V and when the bike is charging, the voltage goes up 13.5 or 14.5.

The stock flasher unit is voltage sensitive.

I use the flash rate while driving to better understand how full the battery is.  If I am parked, I don't the flashers.

i think you are right. i just went out and the battery is completely dead!! when i put the charger on it the cable got very very hot i burned my finger taking the negative off! i think the battery is shot. would a battery being that bad cause the problems im having? man its a new battery too, o wel thats what i get for getting a no name battery i guess
