I have a couple items not address or not address properly in my manuals for my 78 CB750 F3 engine. First it has to do with the Gear Shift Fork Shaft. Mine has a duvet or drilled hole only on one end and a flush end on the other. Which way does it insert in the case? With the hole inserted inside the case, or pointed out into the shifting mechanism cavity?
Second as indicated in the picture below, the far left gear, or drive gear to the final gear should have an offset as indicated. Mine is not as indicated with the slight recess below the gear sides to the inside hub sides on both sides??? So I am considering that there is no right and wrong side with my transmission contrary to the drawing in the K8/F3 Honda Shop Manual???
