Hello again my forum friends... After i brought my 78 home 2 yrs ago i noticed that there was a bend in the frame on the right down tube... the welds all look solid, didn't see any cracks.... i don't notice anything weird when i ride.... eventually when I have some more $$ I would like to get a new titled frame.... but for now ill be ridin this... so the big question is for you metal guys... will this kill me?
Thanks for your help.

Doesn't look to bad. As long as there are no kinks, cracks or shrpe bends, you should be o.k.
Although, I would recomend keeping it under a 150 mph until you get a new frame. ;D

Looks like a good ding and in an interesting place considering the pipes around it look ok.  I have a bent and twisted frame on my F2.  I always wondered why is wobbled under hard acceleration 100mph plus around corners.  1/4 inch out from front to back with a twist, can't tell by looking at it.  Might explain another problem I have.  Engine still fits in.

If the back of that is straight.. it is deformed, not bent.

This area/damage is a place you should check on EVERY CB 750. Crash bars and Highway pegs were mounted here, because they were not made well, those bits tend to crush the frame..

Remember when buying one with bars on, that you may have damage there when removing those parts.. if you can see it with them on, use it as a bargaining point to drive price down...
