stupid motorcycle thieves
« on: June 29, 2010, 09:23:25 AM »
So where I work there's a dedicated motorcycle parking area right in front of the main entrance to the building (cool, eh?).

There's a guy who has a Harley all tricked out with side bags and shiny bits who regularly parks in the cycle area. Well, he comes out of work one day to find some of his stuff has been ripped off. So he goes back inside to ask if anyone working down there saw anything.

As it turns out The District Atty's Office is right inside that entrance & they have security cams everywhere - including some that point out into the parking lot. So they check the tapes and sure enough, some dumbass criminal who was in the DA's office earlier in the day can clearly be seen stealing the stuff.
I heard they arrested him the next day  - right after he got out court for some other offense.  :D

As a friend of mine who works in the Iowa State Prison system says, "If they were smart they wouldn't be criminals!"

I read somewhere that Geddy Lee of Rush refered to a prison as "The house of bad decisions". Seemed about right to me  8)
My bike can be repaired.
