bearing numbers, steering stem
« on: June 30, 2010, 06:12:15 am »
Can someone please give the bearing #'s for the steering stem conversion, either the # on the bearing or cup or at least the manufacture name, I can get great prices for a vendor we use at work, but I need some #" I have all ready replaced front and rear  bearings at a fraction of the cost  compared to Honda or after market sources, any info would be greatly appreciated.

They are not stock bearings so there are no standard bearing numbers you can order. Various suppliers have had custom bearings made and sell them at a reasonable price. If you want a thousand sets you can custom order them too.

Go to the home page and look under FAQ. Then check the thoughts of hondaman. One of his posts is about bearing replacement and lists the part numbers for quality timken bearings.

sure but you need to have those bearings' outer races ground down to fit. There are no stock bearings that fit.
