It's something that he hasn't even talked to you all. Good that the kids have been seen and all.

I touch base with my Mother-In-Law ever so often and Karla talks with her Aunt Joan (Brenda's Sister) about once a week or so. I don't have anything against the rest of the family, I was pretty close with them and especially Brenda's parents. Karla and I even made a special trip to Little Rock, to show her the Charger and SHE just made on over it.

Good that you are going on that trip, hope you have a fine time too!

Karla and I were down to Hot Springs Arkansas just last weekend, for a car show with the Great Plainz Modern Mopars and had a good time meeting with the others and seeing some great cars as well. There will be other various (what they call) Meet & Greets, through out the year and there is a Labor Day Run that will originate in Fort Smith (with some members coming from Kansas, Missouri, Oklahoma & Arkansas), then we will cruise down hwy 71 to Mena Arkansas, get over on the "Talimena Drive"
http://www.talimenascenicdrive.com/ and cruise across from Arkansas into Oklahoma (with a possible car show enroute), ending up in Krebs Oklahoma (near McAlester Oklahoma) at an Italian Restaurant called Pete's Place for Supper at around 4PM and go our separate ways from there. Got a lady friend going with us and another couple from Greenwood also. So, I'm kinda getting OUT There myself!  ;)
