Well the OLD kid just posted this from Alastaro Summer Nitro event, racing in the 9.5 class.


No Streetbike in this race so I had to make a choice to race or not to race... 9.5 bike it is. First qualifying round ended up with me leading the pack, 9.511 but now I'm in second place.

.9.511 / 232km/h, 9.488 / 236km/h, and new PB 9.445 / 235km/h

Oh yeah and my 60ft record... 1.572

Five rounds behind and I'm the #1 qualifier with 9.504
I'm sure things will change tomorrow, but so far I'm doing fine.

Proper KIDS time at 1/4 today, 10.465 / 209km/h
and this was the bikes first ever 1/4 full throttle run, riders former PB on the 150cc two stroke was 15.594...

Jesse Leino made history today when he became the first Finish Junior rider to take his bike into the 6s.

His run of 6.714 @ 177.13 kph coupled to a .006 reaction time took him to # 1 qualifier.

That kid is going to beat his dad badly. ;D That 1500 head is finally done and waiting for a valve job and milling (like -.050 or so).

Mike has ported us two heads so far with impressive results and is currently working on the new head for a 1500cc engine.

Found this old thread. Jesse won the 2014 junior dragbike championship. He hasn't raced this year and has no plans of doing so next year either.
