Look after yourself Bill, never having had experienced a tragic loss like yours, I couldn't begin to know the sadness you've felt, but I'm in awe of your incredible strength and resilience, and your amazing ability to cope so well mate, I'm proud to know you. Cheers, Terry. ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

Sam, I agree with you, It is HARD NOT to feel the Hurt and it IS getting Better. I don't have the the problem as often as I was. It STILL pops up unexpected though (when I DO have the problem).

Thank you Sam, Good To Hear From You, Bill ;)

Thank you for the kind words Terry, hard to think that I am deserving of them though. I'm just trying (hard as it can be, at times) to do what I need to do AND what Brenda would expect me to do. I have to admit that this has been the hardest thing I have EVER had to do, in my entire life! It seemed to take me FOREVER to make myself understand that She was Gone and I'd not see her again, til MY time comes.

                                            Thanks again, Mate. ;)

From every description you've provided, Brenda was a truly amazing woman who was lucky to have been loved by such a truly amazing man.

Thanks for THAT Dan, Not so sure I'm that much to be proud of, but I sure do appreciate the kind words.

Thank you, Brenda WAS an truly amazing woman who I am STILL amazed that it was ME who was chosen to share HER Life With HER. She was the BEST! I've never thought of myself as being amazing, much less TRULY amazing. I just try to do what's right and be considerate to others. Have to say, it was DAMN hard to let her go, even though I really had no choice. After July 1st of '09, I find myself thinking about the part of the Marriage vows that say "Til Death Do Us Part" and I am really set back by that because we NEVER REALLY THINK ABOUT WHAT THAT MEANS, til the time comes. :-\

                                Thanks, Bill ;)

having delt with tragic lose of a close loved one i can tell you that ....one day, the memories no longer fill you with saddness , but with joy .. our lost loved ones live on in our memories .... that's something that can never be taken away from you my friend .. keep your head up brother, thats what she would want  .......and she's not watching you from above.. she's sitting right next to you, wispering in your ear .. and soon you will be calm enough to listen

i'm not religious at all , but, with one little tear in my eye,  i just said a little prayer for you

You said quite a load there Spikey and I know that there is a lot of truth in that. It IS getting better AND the bad times ARE getting to be less often. But there sure is a huge vacant place in my life.

I Knew that I Loved Her, though I didn't REALLY realize how much

I Knew that we were meant to be together, though I never really looked back at all of the things that happened that led to us getting together

I knew that we were Very Close, I didn't REALLY Know just HOW close we really were

I Knew we were a Team and that she depended on me for things, but I Never REALLY knew how much I depended on HER!

Imagine if you could take a person and take away 1/2 of them and them still be alive! THAT'S how I felt, when I lost Brenda!

I knew that, when she was gone for little bit, I MISSED her and was ready for her to be back home  BUT, I NEVER REALLY KNEW WHAT MISSING HER WOULD BE LIKE WHEN SHE  WASN'T COMING BACK!

Thanks Manny, I DO appreciate your input here,  Bill

Bill, cherish the time you had together. The past can never be taken away from you, you have been robbed of the future with Brenda which is a shame. Remember the good times, and become the author of your future without Brenda. Make it a good story.

Take it one day at a time Bill, and always remember the good times.  The future may not always seem that good, but as BobbyR says, you CAN make it a good story too.  Make it so.
