I've been working out a lot lately and noticed something I've never had before.
I've been getting headaches up the back of my neck, up over the back of my head, and behind my eyes every time I get about 15 reps into a set.
this is only
without a huge warm-up session.
If I warm-up for about 20 minutes, it's not as bad but it's still there at about half strength on the pain-o-meter.
Never had this before, so I decided to look into what's changed from the last time I worked out hard and didn't get headaches.
I eat alot of chicken and rice, fish and sweet potatoes, and tons of random fruits and vegetables.
Everything was the same except the type of drinks I've been consuming.
I realized, I've never really had anything containing Aspartame, it was purposely avoided because it was
weird.
But until recently,
that's all I've been drinking.
Only because I'm out of work, it's a dollar a box, and you can make 16, 16oz bottles with it. (I water it down)

I've been mixing these and drinking about 6-8 16 oz bottles of it a day, not thinking anything of it.
until now.
I'm going to try an experiment and discontinue the use of aspartame all together to see if there is any change.
It's not in any of the other foods I eat so it should be easy.
I'll post results.
