i recently got tired of my ratty ol'chopper it beat the hell out of me sometimes wouldn't run right. the hardtail was murder on my back. so i sold it took the funds from it and bought me a 2003 Honda 750 shadow ace and immediately fell in love.i realize what i have been missing a smooth comfortable ride. let alone the awsome gas milage. this winter i plan on putting flh fenders on it, different seat,and some wider handle bars.i know everyone has buyers remorse,but honestly this is the first time it has not crossed my mind.don't get me wrong i still have one of my fours my beloved cb550. she will be getting her complete rebuild now from the ground up.

I test rode a v-rod and that was way smooth. kind of too smooth. like it just glided along. I also test rode a big ol Yamaha Star, with the headlight bucket that looks like an Indian w/ my gfriend on back. I liked it. it kind of rumbled but super comfy and fun. I imagine your Shadow would be something like the star. have fun.
