Topic: Does anyone make headlight buckets with the speedo mounted inside?

I'm looking to get rid of the big speedo and tach and try to incorperate as much as possible into my headlight. does anyone manufacture a decent headlight with the speedo mounted inside?

You can probably get an old bucket and Macgiver a mini speedo into it but most of the older speedos won't jive with a 140MPH speedo like you find on on an SOHC.

Look in the "Jammer" catalogue, which is a division of custom chrome. I know for a fact they
sell a headlight bucket with a provision for a gauge on top.

might fit in the opening but I'm not sure. The same place on ebay sells speedos that do fit but I think they only go up to 50 mph or something.

Did you notice the headlight in the above ebay link is 6volt ?
Not a big deal if you are buying it just for the housing, and plan to replace the innerds...

Why couldn't you just blast a hole in the stock CB headlight bucket and mount a gauge ?
Not enough room in their ? Might be back of gauge to back of sealed beam contact...

Just an idea...
