Is this an aftermarket rectifier/regulator?

Was breaking down my 76 CB550 and noticed this. It is an aftermarket rectifier/regulator?

It is the stock rectifier

and the regulator is the shiny metal bit slightly up and to the right of the rectifier on your last picture behind the fuse box

Cool thanks. It stuck out a little because the wires/loom are totally different when the rest. Must be an after market part.

Nope. Those are stock on the 76-78 IIRC. "New and improved" over the black squares.
