Basics:
I replaced the ignition switch, the new one has one or two more contact points than the old.
1) The tail light only works at the farthest key point (key turned to the full right, but not at "on").
2) The brake light does not work at all (the bulb is fine).
Worst of all, the key slips between the auxilliary and on points and the engine cuts off as I am accelerating.
Is the brake light issue related to the new switch?
