Topic: 40 pilot jets for 1975 cb 550

I have searched an done alot of google searches for them but cant seem to find someone that has/carrys them, I have ordered from 2 different places listed under FAQ an both place have sent me the wrong ones, They are 40's look the same but the diameter of the shaft that slides into the carb is to big as well an the threads. any help would be great

i needed a single 42 slow jet for my bike (PO had drilled one for some reason) so i just went to my honda dealer with the correct jet as a sample and had 'em order one.  about a week, about $7.50.

(i'd recommend bringing a jet with you as a sample, as it's possible some carb swapping has occured somtime in the last 3 decades).  bike bandit has 'em for your bike, but they're listed as 38's.

yeah i was thinking about going to the honda guy by me but i dont care for them they also have order me the wrong parts for my cb 550, so are the 38 listed on bike bandits website realy 40's just mis numbered?
