My first 550 :)
« on: July 02, 2010, 05:44:26 AM »

1978 Honda CB550
44,000 km (27,000 mi)
4 into 1 Yoshimura headers and Pipe

She runs like a dream and I only paid her $1200,  some of my future plans with her are new signal markers and tail light, new seat... Gunmetal pearl paint on the tank,  new rim spokes and tires and we'll see what other cool things the members on this forum can show.

here she is

Bike looks great, and the Yosh pipes and headers are a bit special. I wouldn't mind finding a set myself...

tj... I'm in Toronto Canada.

ieism... the seller warned me that if I ever was gonna get rid of the headers and pipe I should command a high price for them, and as I read on I am finding out that they are special indeed.

My parents said no to clown school unfortunately. ;D Really though, good lookin bike. I've had my '77 550, for about a little more than a year now, and its only failed me when I blew a fuse. Couldn't be more satisfied, and I hope you have the same luck that I've had.  :)

a chrome Yosh exhaust?  I thought all they made was race setups for the 550s, and a very small amount at that.   I need to see more pics.
