Guys

Was at Rivington Barn (Near Bolton) UK the other Sunday where bikers of all kinds meet. There were two other 550/4s there besides mine plus a 400/4 and a 750. Normally just me, all the other guys thought we we on a club meet!.

My old 550/4 is still going stong with a mate of mine in the North East though and you see a few at classic bike shows. Will look out at the Classic Jap Bike show at Donnington Park this weekend.

Any one in UK going?

I lived in Sedona AZ for 3 1/2 years.  It is gorgeous riding country..  lots of choices for scenic twisties..  It was a good place for me to learn to ride.

Its not the oven that phoenix is...  gets a tiny bit of snow, definitely decent riding weather for most of the year.

Hey Adam,Yeah, it would be good to hook up with you before you move on to better places. I have an old growing up buddy that lives in Suisun City (by Vallejo) that just bought a new BMW.We went up to Sonora/Angels Camp in October and had a nice putt. He said he would be up for a ride where you are talking about (the coast... Point Reyes) or up into Napa (wine country). I will definitely let you know before we do it. Probably in March or April when all the cold weather has passed.

checking the frame serial numbers from k0-k8 they went from 1000001 to 2861935 or a possible 1,861,934 bikes.
I do not think that they actually rolled out that many bikes.

This time last year I had 16 CB750s. I know another person with 4 , another with 5 and a guy with 7 and a guy with 3 and lastly an ambitious individual with more than 30.
If we were not so stuck on these bikes perhaps we could bring ourselves to share the wealth and sell some. There would be more on the road if we increase the size of the ownership pool.
I have sold 11 of my CB750s in the last year and have limited myself to 5. Even so I can only drive one at a time for you to see.
There are many CB750s in my area they are just not daily drivers anymore.
I bet you cant buy just one.
There are so many out there and they ane cheaper by the dozen.
They are not all the same!

Nothing is of great value until it is finished.

Don't want to hijack this thread but the guy down the road with the 400f got in my face yesterday when I was teaching my daughter to parallel park behind his van. "Hey, you, don't use my van as a backing point!!". It got pretty verbal after that and I resisted getting out of the car, (I need to keep my job) so we pulled away. Was he a f*tard or should I have been using cones or something?. Was he right? Was I wrong? :-\

Hard to say.  Any car parked on a public street is fair game for parking practice, and as long as the car doesn't get hit there's nothing the owner can do about it except move his car.  On the other hand, I would probably be a little nervous if I saw that my car was being used for that purpose (if my car weren't a POS, that is).

I see a guy here in Indianapolis running a 74 or 5 750/4.  Looks to be in great shape, but I never have a chance to stop him.  You will see me this summer on a  blue 550F.  This town used to be lousy with them, but its a rare day anymore.

Iowa is a place where you don't see too many 750's... well, you do see a lot, but they are sitting in piles at salvage yards. Ive lived here all my life and have seen maybe 2 out on the road in the last 4 years(not counting the three I have). If you want to get rid of a 750 ( and i dont know why you would?!?!?) dump it here... things usually rust and rot in the lovely Iowa weather
