Exhaust wrap by the foot?
« on: July 06, 2010, 09:56:16 AM »
Is there any place I can get exhaust wrap by the foot? I installed a Kerker K3 on my 550f and just want to wrap a five or six inch span where it connects? I don't want to buy a 15' roll when I only need about 2 feet or so. White or black, don't care.

ps-if you have some leftover from a wrap job please let me know. ;D

? possibly?  I've never bought it by the foot..so this is only a guess if they actually are legit.

I've seen a few websites ( I can't recall which ones unfortunately) that sell by the foot... however, it's odd that they do.

Unless- they have someone in your situation that only needs a few inches...however that few inches of wrap can turn into 2 feet after you start overlapping.

I'll give it a shot. I really wish I had kept that leftover wrap from my pipes! NEVER throw anything away! :)

Already tried. The one by me just has the tape that gets all gooey when it heats up.

I have a few extra feet, but won't be home until this weekend.

Pipes look great. I love the black exhaust collars. I'll let you know if I can't locate any by the weekend. Thanks
