They are not replaceable and it means that the mufflers are shot inside--that is the way they usually go--rusted from the inside. A few years ago, a N.O.S. set (long discontinued) would cost you as much as the bike sold for new back in 78. While Honda reproduced the previous exhausts, they never did this for the K7/K8 models. However, a few years ago, O.E.M. mufflers were produced and are nor readily available. Although they are no Honda parts, they are identical bolt-on replacements from the very same factory. You still looking at $ 800-- which would have been considered a real bargain ten years ago. They are top quality too.
