CB350F centre stand problem
« on: July 24, 2010, 10:35:49 PM »
Hi Just got my cb350f on the road this weekend after a resto. been out riding all day yesterday and today. just got home and nearly dropped it trying to put it on it's centre stand. Turns out the centre stand has come away from the frame on the right side. I can't work out how it is suppose to work. Could someone please take a look at their cb350f stand and tell me how it is affixed to the frame? bolt? nut? etc. or wether the bolt (looks like it is hanging out a bit from the left side) is suppose to go all the way through?. I kinda looks like something has sheared off. photos would be great.

I'm trying to attach some photo's but can't quite work it out

cheers

you can look at the schematics on any site that sells oem parts to see how things work. that's what I do. follow this link to BikeBandit...

http://www.bikebandit.com/honda-motorcycle-parts/oem-parts

just click your year, etc. then look under the frame section and find the exploded view of the main stand.

Excellent

Thanks Greasy J

looks like it's just a split pin.
so all I need to do is tap the shaft through and put in a pin
