Topic: Intake Clamp alternatives

My intake clamps are done, I saw on here hose clamps were suggested as an alternative.  They seem to be way too wide for that use, any other suggestions?  I hunted a few sources listed on here but didn't have any luck in finding a clamp that would be suitable.

I'm not sure if you've got a Honda shop near your place but I just ordered new clamps and screws from my local Honda dealer on Thursday (for the '72 CB750), using the part numbers on the fiche. They're a little more expensive than you'll pay for what you're holding there, but still manageable from a price point. I think mine were about 3.50$ a piece.

I'm using these things from West Marine. They are stainless and are the exact same width. I saw Carpy selling them on his site so I found where he was sourcing them from. I think they are around a buck a piece. Since they are stainless, they are puurdy too.

You rock!  Why is it that West Marine has like 4 locations all within a few miles of each other and none by me.  I can walk to the friggin harbor from my house, you'd think they would put one near me.  Okay well its road trip time.  Thanks!
