On a related topic, there were state troopers in Illinois at a toll stop hiding behind the toll structure looking for seat belt violations.  They caused several accidents and a backup in traffic for miles.  In my mind, worse than cameras for all the damage they did. 

In NY the toll takers had themselvesdesignated Peace Officers. If they spot and expired inspection sticker, registration, seat belt,cell phone use. They usually have another Officer on the side of the road who will issue you a ticket.

Just collect your damn tolls and leave the policing to the pohlice, Mmmmmkay??

That is awesome that the people are taking action in the UK, you guys need to start mowing down the 2.5 buhzillion CCTV cameras across the country.
