1973 CB 350 Four (Amber)

I thought I would introduce you guys to my latest project. I hope to have it finished by August. heres a couple of pics of the progress.

Getting some work done today. i really like the look of screened vents, but i've desided to outline mine in cxarbon fiber instead of brass. here's a pic of the layup. i also found time to drill some 1 3/4 holes in the front hub while waitng for the resin to set up. i still need to go back and clean up the flashings on the backside.

thats really cool. for a while i couldnt figure out what you were going to do. now are you going to put some type of metal screen in there?

welded a plate for the battery and electrics relocation, then cleaned up the cut tubes.

i found time last night to make a carbon fender. i'm hoping to paint the frame and swingarm today.

i painted it myself with restoration shop single stage urethane. it seems single stage is more chemical and chip resistant. its great paint for the money. i've used it on several frame and i'm very impressed with it.

are you using prepeg carbon or carbon cloth and resin. i have like 3 yards of cloth and would like to make a points cover like yours.

i'm using carbon cloth 2x2 twill.

Wow, really like that frame colour even more.  That must look great in the sun.  What colour(s) are you using for the tank?

i can't deside between stirling silver and pewter for the tank and tail. i'm leaning toward pewter at the moment. i took some time off thinking about it and finished the vent screens.

starting to look like a bike now. on another note my 750 won first place int he antique class at biketoberfest. feeling pretty stked about that. cheers ;D
