Looks really good.  Love the frame color.  Where did you get the fork gators?

the fork gator are dynastar. they are for truck shocks. they fit a little better on 35mm forks than the 33mm on this bike. but for $12 they can't be beat.

I love the color on the frame and it's really set off by the black rims.  You do great work Shorty.

Looking GOOD!!! man that's impressive work!! Care to explain how you installed the screens and where they came from?? I want to do this to my rear drum, but haven't found any info anywhere for the materials/how-to!!  Either way, awesome work!! I LOVE those pipes, can't wait to hear how it sounds!!!

the screen is just regular screen from the hardware store. i was going to use brass(i may still) but i had this lying around, plus i really like the silver screen. i made the carbon cover first the drew it out on the brake housing. i drilled holes in the corners and about 1/4" apart between them, then connected them with a dremel tool. i filed it smooth then drank a Sam Adams because the webbing wad a #$%*. be careful not to get into the speedo drive on the front drum or the bearing webbing on the rear.

thanks. it's firemist orange. it looks copper in the shade, but once the sunlight hits it it turns orange. the camera really doesn't do it justice. now all i have left to do it make a seat cover.

How did do you connect the snaps to the fiberglass?

Think we could get a closeup of the seat?

the snap backs are screwed to the fiberglass with stainless self taping screws. i cut off the excess and put a drop of resin on them as a bit of insurance to keep them from pulling out.

the other bike is a 1969 cb350 twin. i didn't really want a twin but i got it for $300 with a title and it only has 7200 miles on it. i also have another 350F (not pictured). i may sell Amber and use the money to build a really cool full fairing 350F.

here's a pic of my 750 seat. the snaps are done the same way.

I know you fabricated a carbon front fender but i was wondering if you think the stock fender would work with that 100/19-18 front tire?

i used the stock fender mounting bracket so it should fit no problem. it's close so make sure your run-out on the rim is right.  i think you could get fit a 110 without a fender.
