Just curious... Does your CB750K front wheel drag as much as mine does?  First I thought the brake was dragging, but then when I removed the caliper & speed sensor, it dragged as much.  FYI, the front wheel has new wheel bearings.

yeah, it's in there...  i am trying to see if the bearings are in there crooked...

the bearings are new.  i span the wheel by holding the axle in my hands and it would spin FREELY - over and over for many rotations.

so now the question is...  how can the axle be too tight?  don't you all tighten the axle all the way?  no?

Yes, but like mentioned above if the axle spacer between the bearings in missing it will tighten to much. The spacer looks like the one pictured.

Without the spacer, the bearings end up looking like this:


I would agree that things just look a little too tight. What torque did you tighten them to?

Yes, but like mentioned above if the axle spacer between the bearings in missing it will tighten to much. The spacer looks like the one pictured.

OK, so we know the spacer is in place and can eliminate that idea. Any chance the speedo gear was not in the grooves on the hub?

i have no idea, but it appears that the forks were pulled too close to the wheel.  i have them corrected and now the wheel turns free!!!!
